7 WAYS TO PRACTICE MINDFULNESS

Buddhist & Peace Activist, Thich Nhat Hanh says...

"Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet"

Mindfulness is a very effective stress management tool. It's the energy of being aware and awake to each present moment.

Set your Intention

Intention shows how powerful we truly are and how setting a clear direction early on in the day can set us up for success. Intentions manifest what you intend to attract to your life. Without setting intention, it's like heading out to a destination without a map.

Walk Mindfully

Pay attention to your surroundings and really connect to life around you. Take a moment to feel the grass, the stones, the earth beneath your feet.

Pause

Pausing between your actions can help you to clear your mind and re-charge your body with a renewed energy.

Pause to appreciate the aroma of your freshly ground coffee beans and savor each sip.

Feel each snowflake or raindrop as it falls upon your skin.

Snuggle in a little deeper into your fresh, crisp, soft sheets in the morning.

Feel the warmth of the morning sun as it flows through your window.

Listen Wholeheartedly

Try to fully listen to what another person is saying without judgement, and then intuitively speak when it's your turn.

Journal

Journaling can help you to capture a new perspective that will be valuable for showing a more clear direction for your life. It reflects your purpose and how you chose to show up in your own life for that.

Get out of your chair & move

Your body deserves a break. You should get up and move around at least every hour to truly optimize your well-being.

Practice Gratitude

Celebrate at least one thing each day that you are thankful for.
